I took a screen shot for evidence! ;) Also, I guess if you want to congratulate Heidi, there's her e-mail address so you can do so! :)
It was such an honor to review Kayse's book & I am enjoying using her printables for myself!
Secondly, it's been awhile since I have participated in Five Minute Friday, so today I shall rejoin! :)
Brought to you today by the word: rest.
I close my eyes, blocking out the sun, the sound of waves crashing against the shore. And yet, no I am not at the beach. Upon the quilt of greens & corals, tans & whites, I lay beside their two little bodies, chests rising and falling.
This mid-day moment, all of our eyes heavy, all of our thoughts calming. We giggle and roll, push one another over, flip the pillows, lay down. He rolls to one side, filled with milk. She pushes her back against mine, reaching up for my hair.
And in the glowing light of this one o'clock hour, everything stops moving. I would not be surprised if the clock stopped ticking during this time. The baby dolls lay still, the legos remain unmoved, the television silent, the kitchen snacks left alone.
As we lay still upon the bed, basking in the rays and the precious snuggles, all of the world is at rest. And we breathe in and out, in and out, and that is all we do.
This rest is bliss, precious bliss.
Love you dearly,
Jen
Please do join us! It is really the best five minutes of the week. :)
